The time is ripe for this idea to surface; a bunch of innovators from different corners are working together to support each other’s respective initiatives. In a highly competitive market, this show of solidarity is rare. A natural alliance of GREEN travel companies that abide by ethical and responsible tourism are linking up to prove the Indian sub-continent a GREEN Circuit. An unbeatable overland adventure linking up various cultural & eco-tours. Travellers can traverse the entire route or jump on and off according to their needs.
So far we have :
• Nepal circuit “The Tamang Heritage Trail” covered by SocialTours & SocialTreks
• East India Circuit “Orissa Odyssey” by GrassRoutes
• Kerala by The Blue Yonder.
The intiative will be launched at ITB in Berlin, actively supported by experts in local travel like Your Safe Planet and Valere Tjolle Sustainable Tourism Editor from TravelMole. Further inputs welcome!
